Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are among the most revered and powerful deities in Hinduism. Vishnu, the Preserver, is worshipped as the protector and sustainer of the universe. His divine consort, Lakshmi, is the Goddess of fortune, prosperity, and success. Together, they symbolize harmony, abundance, and cosmic balance, and are frequently depicted side by side in sacred art, illustrating their inseparable bond.
In traditional iconography, Vishnu is portrayed with a blue complexion and four arms, holding a conch, discus, mace, and lotus—each representing divine attributes. He is often shown reclining on the five-headed serpent Adishesha, while Lakshmi sits beside him, gently tending to his feet, signifying devotion, grace, and eternal companionship.
